What is Vedic Math?

Vedic Math = Mental Math

• Widely known as the fastest speed math in the world.
• The collective name given to a set of 16 sutras or principles which gives students numerous ways to work out a math problem easily, mentally and quickly and therefore building concentration and visualization skills.
• Consist of sutras that gives a one line answer to every mathematical sum, encouraging fun and innovation among its students and enabling the mind to solve mathematical problems from arithmetic to algebra, trigonometry to geometry to calculus and beyond.
• The simplicity of sutras allows even the weakest student to understand and excel in math. Mathematics becomes a subject that every student can master.
• By learning Vedic math, children develop increased "Math IQ" with an understanding of the relationship of the numbers, creating a life long foundation in Math.

Welcome to the opening of Setia Alam Knowledge Centre

First of all, with my great pleasure, I would like to annouce that a new Math Monkey Knowledge Centre will be opened in Setia Alam, a gracious modern living, learning, working and playing place.

Math Monkey has a one-of-a-kind curriculum, combining mental math and games, that is not found in any other math supplemental programs. We have localised all lesson and game plans to suit the local curriculum. Vedic Math is used to enhance the learning of various topics like time and money, metric system and solving word problem techniques.

Math is a universal subject and its importance cannot be overstated in today's competitive environments. Vedic (Mental) Math as taught in Math Monkey gives every child a chance to understand and excel in Math. Math becomes a second language to Math Monkey kids.
